Card settings: name, billing cycle and visibility

Rename a card, set its statement cycle, hide it, or turn it off.

Each connected card has its own settings. Go to Cards & banks and click the card, or click Manage on its row. Admins can change these.

Name and visibility

Change the card's name, then tick what applies under Visibility:

  • Active: untick to stop using the card in Summit.
  • Hide in list: keeps the card off the Cards & banks list.
  • Exclude from totals: leaves its balance out of the totals at the top of Cards & banks.
  • Hide transactions: keeps its charges out of your lists.

Click Save settings.

If you reactivate a card, use Pull Historical on its connection to bring in charges from while it was off. See Fix a bank connection.

Billing cycle

Set the Billing cycle day, the day each new statement cycle starts (1 to 31), and click Save. Auto-detect reads it from the card's statement date at the bank.

With a cycle day set, the card shows Cycle spend, which resets on that day. Without one, it shows MTD spend, which resets on the 1st.

Spending limit

You can enter a Spending limit for a card to track spend against. It's for tracking in Summit and doesn't change the limit your bank sets.

Balance display

If a card's balance shows with the wrong sign, tick Invert balance. Tick Use available balance to show the available balance instead of the current one.
