Manage your Sage Intacct connection
Sync your coding fields, change the posting entity, reconnect, or disconnect Sage Intacct.
Everything about the connection is on one page: go to Settings > Accounting > ERP connection and click Manage on Sage Intacct. Only Admins can change it.
Sync your coding fields now
Summit syncs GL accounts, departments, locations, projects, classes and your other Sage dimensions every few hours. To pull a change from Sage right away, like a new GL account:
- Under Connection, find Coding fields. It shows when they last synced.
- Click Sync fields from Sage Intacct.
When it's done, Summit says how many of each it brought in. If a field brings in zero values, your company may not use it in Sage, or the Web Services user can't read it. Check that user's permissions in Sage Intacct.
You can also click Sync now on the Sage Intacct card on the ERP connection page.
Change the posting entity
For a multi-entity Sage company, the Sage entity section has Posting entity: the entity Summit exports to. If you change it, click Sync fields from Sage Intacct straight away so coding uses that entity's values.
Reconnect
If the page shows Error or "Reconnect required", enter the same Web Services username and click Connect again. You don't need to disconnect first.
Update receipt sign-in details
If the XML Web Services password for receipt files changed in Sage, open Receipt attachment sync, click Update, and enter the new details.
Disconnect
Under Disconnect, click Disconnect, type Sage Intacct in the box, then click Disconnect Sage Intacct.
- It revokes Summit's access at Sage and deletes the coding field values synced from Sage.
- Charges you already exported stay in Sage Intacct.
To remove Summit's access completely, also delete its entry under Company > Setup > Company > Security > Authorized client applications in Sage Intacct.
To fix a broken connection, reconnect instead of disconnecting.
Companies with several entities in Summit
If your company has a parent and child entities in Summit, the connection belongs to the parent. A child entity shows Connected — inherited and can sync its fields, but connection settings are managed on the parent.
