Read and sign the expense policy

Sign your company's expense policy in Summit, and see who still needs to.

Your company can ask everyone to read and sign its expense policy in Summit.

Sign the policy

  1. Go to Settings > Expense policy. If your company needs your signature before you continue, Summit opens this page for you when you sign in, and the rest of Summit opens once you've signed.
  2. Read the policy. Open in new tab shows it full size.
  3. Under Sign the policy, tick I have read the policy above and agree to the statement.
  4. Type your full name in Type your full name to sign and click Sign.

The page then says "You've acknowledged this policy" with the date you signed. Come back to it any time to read the policy again.

If the policy changes while you have the page open, reload it and sign the new version.

For admins: who's signed

The policy PDF lives in Settings > Spend controls > Policy, on the Policy document tab, under What employees sign.

  • The counter shows how many people have signed, like "12/15 signed". Click Remind N people to email everyone who still needs to sign.
  • To upload a new version, click Replace. Choose Existing signatures stay valid (only new members sign) or Require everyone to sign again, and tick Email everyone who still needs to sign to tell them.

The first PDF you upload always asks everyone to sign.
