Sign in and two-factor verification
Ways to sign in, setting a password, turning on two-factor, and signing out other devices.
Ways to sign in
Go to app.summitspend.com and enter your work email. You can then:
- Use an emailed sign-in link. Open the link from the newest email. Each link works once and expires.
- Use your password, if you've set one.
- Use Google, if your work email is a Google account.
In the mobile app you can also sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email. See Sign in to the mobile app.
Your account is your work email. If it needs to change, ask an admin.
Set or change your password
Go to Settings > Security. Under Sign-in, click Set password, or Change if you already have one. Forgot it? Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page, or just sign in with an emailed link instead.
Turn on two-factor verification
Two-factor asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app, like 1Password, Google Authenticator or Authy, when you sign in.
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Under Two-factor authentication, find Authenticator app and click Set up.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, then enter the 6-digit code it shows.
To turn it off, click Remove. You'll need a current code from the app.
Require two-factor for everyone
Admins can make two-factor mandatory. Go to Settings > General, and under Sign-in turn on Require two-factor for everyone. People who haven't set it up are asked to the next time they sign in.
See where you're signed in
Settings > Security also shows:
- Active sessions: the browsers and devices signed in as you. Click Sign out other sessions to sign out everywhere but here.
- Login history: recent sign-ins and how each one happened.
If you see a sign-in you don't recognize, sign out other sessions, change your password and tell your admin.
